Life behind the mic
The first thing you should be aware of is that I have been a successful professional performer all my life. I still work as a keynote speaker, voice actor and corporate events emcee during the day, and have been doing so for thirty years. I am also a published author and a visiting lecturer at Ontario Tech University. I have spent all of my professional life behind a microphone - communicating, educating and entertaining. Building and running a successful corporate communications business adds to my abilities as a professional musician. First, it proves I know the events business inside and out, including the parts often overlooked by others, namely customer service and professionalism, onstage and off.
My company's success allows me the time to focus on music for hours each day. I have been playing live music since the 1980s, appearing on CITY TV's Breakfast Television and even onstage at the 2007 Grey Cup Celebrations week in Toronto, entertaining a crowd of 5,000+ before Great Big Sea and April Wine took over.

I have played private parties and corporate functions for decades. Much of my business comes from word-of mouth referral. My repertoire ranges from the 1940s through to the early 1990s with the main focus on 1970s soft rock.I have a quiet instrumental of jazz and popular standards, plenty of favourite pop tunes from Elvis through to Jason Mraz, and Ed Sheeran.
Client service is as important as the music itself and I pride myself on ensuring that you, the party planner, feel comfortable from the moment you decide to hire me. Putting on an event can be stressful, and I make sure every minute up to the event itself, during and afterwards, is enjoyable for you and your guests.
