Hello! And congratulations for your upcoming wedding ceremony. I'm Steve, and I have been playing music on stage for 30 years. I am proficient in smooth fingerstyle jazz guitar, and I also sing with backing tracks to more than 300 tunes ranging from the 1950s to the 2000s, with most coming from the “best decade for music,” the 1970s. I play soft Americana like the Eagles and Neil Diamond, and I also play disco, funk, ballads, and some really great pop and rock tunes.

My role as a wedding musician is to play the soundtrack of your life on this most important of days. From the first notes as guests arrive to the last dance song of the night, I will help make your day feel joyful, and stress‑free, by taking care of your guests' entertainment. I bring years of experience, not only as a musician, but also as an MC. I combine dynamic stage presence with a reliable calm professionalism, so you can stay fully in your moment.

Whether in a hotel ballroom or a more intimate reception at home, that time of relaxation and reflection known as the reception is that wonderful moment where the couple can relax and take some time to chat with guests. These more intimate settings form a bridge between the formality of a ceremony and openness of the dinner and party.

Receptions always benefit when guests' faces light up and they say “Oh, I LOVE that song!” That's why I have put together a collection of favourite tunes delivered in a way that is not as loud or complicated as a band, and more approachable than a Spotify playlist. You and your guests can enjoy the music at a level that still allows for conversation.

l treat your event as it should be: a serious business engagement that delivers pleasure and memories to your family and guests. I will meet with you in person, or by phone or video chat to learn more about your needs and favourite tunes. I will then build the event around you. I show up prepared, ready and properly dressed, and will make sure that the performance reflects the theme of your evening.
